Alva Leaves ist eine Indie-Pop-Band aus Bern, Schweiz. Gegründet wurde die Band von Schlagzeuger und Komponist Gert Stäuble (Central Services, Mich Gerber, Züri West), der eine vielfältige Gruppe von Musikerinnen zusammengebracht hat, die eine tiefe Liebe zur Musik und einen hohen Anspruch an ihr Handwerk teilen. Alva Leaves bricht mit klassischen Bandstrukturen und arbeitet als Produzentinnenteam, wodurch Generationen- und Geschlechtergrenzen überbrückt und Erfahrung mit Frische verbunden werden.
Der zeitgenössische Sound von Alva Leaves verbindet traditionelle Instrumentierung mit schimmernden Pop-Elementen. Erfahrene Instrumentalist*innen legen das Fundament für die Sängerinnen. Zur Band gehören zudem Jazzpianistin Maja Nydegger (Akku Quintet, Blaer), Gitarrist Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) und Bassist Wolfgang Zwiauer (Christy Doran, Don Li) sowie Gert Stäuble am Schlagzeug.
Im November 2022 veröffentlichte Alva Leaves ihre erste Single „Currents“, gefolgt vom Album Lost In The Blue im November 2024. Die Band ist bei Sophie Records unter Vertrag und wird von Nordwind Bern gemanagt.

Alva Leaves is an indie pop band from Berne, Switzerland. Drummer and composer Gert Stäuble (Central Services, Mich Gerber, Züri West) has gathered a diverse crew that shares a great love for music and, needless to say, talent. Defying conventional patterns, the band consists of a team of three producers. Alva Leaves, thus, not only connects expertise with freshness, but also bridges the usual generation and gender gaps.
The result is a very contemporary sound, in which the experienced instrumentalists lay the traditional ground for the singers. Beside Gert Stäuble on drums there’s jazz pianist Maja Nydegger (Akku Quintet, Blaer), guitarist Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) and bass player Wolfgang Zwiauer (Christy Doran, Don Li).
Alva Leaves was founded in November 2022, launching its first single “Currents”, followed by the album “Lost In The Blue” in November 2024.
Alva Leaves is signed by Sophie Records and managed by Nordwind Bern both located in Berne, Switzerland.

Alva Leaves est un groupe de pop indé originaire de Berne, en Suisse. Le batteur et compositeur Gert Stäuble (Central Services, Mich Gerber, Züri West) a réuni une équipe diversifiée qui partage un grand amour de la musique et, cela va sans dire, du talent. Défiant les schémas conventionnels, le groupe se compose d'une équipe de trois producteurs. Alva Leaves associe donc non seulement l'expertise à la fraîcheur, mais comble également le fossé habituel entre les générations et les sexes.
Le résultat est un son très contemporain, dans lequel les instrumentistes expérimentés préparent le terrain traditionnel pour les chanteuses. Outre Gert Stäuble à la batterie, on trouve la pianiste de jazz Maja Nydegger (Akku Quintet, Blaer), le guitariste Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) et le bassiste Wolfgang Zwiauer (Christy Doran, Don Li).
Alva Leaves a été fondé en novembre 2022 et a lancé son premier single « Currents », suivi de l'album « Lost In The Blue » en novembre 2024.

Nach ihrem ersten gemeinsamen Werk „Games“ veröffentlichen ALVA LEAVES und DALLAN nun ihren zweiten gemeinsamen Song „Flow“.
Geprägt von einer fliessenden Indie-Pop-Produktion wirkt der Song wie eine sanfte Strömung — warm, weit und in stetiger Bewegung. Alva Leaves — Gert Stäuble, Luk Zimmermann, Wolfgang Zwiauer und Maja Nydegger — prägen die organischen Klänge, während Dallan dem Song mit ihrer wiedererkennbaren Stimme eine luftige, leichte Atmosphäre verleiht.
Im Kern geht es in „Flow“ ums Loslassen und darum, wieder bei sich selbst anzukommen — zu entschleunigen und dem eigenen natürlichen Rhythmus zu folgen. Der Song fängt das Gefühl ein, Dinge geschehen zu lassen und Ruhe darin zu finden, sich vom Fluss des Lebens tragen zu lassen.
