Alva Leaves
Alva Leaves is an indie pop band from Berne, Switzerland. Drummer and composer Gert Stäuble (Central Services, Mich Gerber, Züri West) has gathered a diverse crew that shares a great love for music and, needless to say, talent. Defying conventional patterns, the band consists of a team of three producers featuring the two female singers from ‚Another Me‘. Alva Leaves, thus, not only connects expertise with freshness, but also bridges the usual generation and gender gaps.
The result is a very contemporary sound, in which the experienced instrumentalists lay the traditional ground for the singers and guitarists Alischa Boss and Lisa Zaugg. Beside Gert Stäuble on drums there’s jazz pianist Maja Nydegger (Akku Quintet, Blaer), guitarist Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) and bass player Wolfgang Zwiauer (Christy Doran, Don Li).
Alva Leaves was founded in November 2022, launching its first single “Currents”, followed by the album “Lost In The Blue” featuring Finja Keogh and Sophie Grimes in November 2024.
Alva Leaves is signed by Sophie Records and managed by Nordwind Bern both located in Berne, Switzerland.

Nach dem 2024er-Album ‚Lost In The Blue‘ veröffentlicht ALVA LEAVES in neuem Line-up seine erste Single ‚Come Around‘, die die Sängerinnen Alischa Boss und Lisa Zaugg von ‚Another Me‘ featured. Die Crew im Studio ist unverändert: Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) sorgt für edle Preamps und Gitarren, Wolfgang Zwiauer (Bass Drum People, Cosmotonics) spielt Bass und Piano, Gert Stäuble liefert wie immer den fetten Beat und das Arrangement des Songs.
Ein neues Album ist in Produktion und für 2026 sind endlich erste Konzerte geplant.

After the 2024 album ‘Lost In The Blue’, ALVA LEAVES releases its first single ‘Come Around’ with a new line-up, featuring the singers Alischa Boss and Lisa Zaugg from ‘Another Me’. The crew in the studio is unchanged: Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) provides classy preamps and guitars, Wolfgang Zwiauer (Bass Drum People, Cosmotonics) plays bass and piano, Gert Stäuble, as always, provides the fat beat and arrangement of the song.
A new album is in production and the first concerts are finally planned for 2026.

Après l'album de 2024 “Lost In The Blue”, ALVA LEAVES sort son premier single “Come Around” avec un nouveau line-up, qui met en vedette les chanteuses Alischa Boss et Lisa Zaugg de “Another Me”. L'équipe en studio reste inchangée : Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) s'occupe des préamplis et des guitares raffinés, Wolfgang Zwiauer (Bass Drum People, Cosmotonics) joue de la basse et du piano, Gert Stäuble fournit comme toujours le gros beat et l'arrangement de la chanson.
Un nouvel album est en cours de production et les premiers concerts sont enfin prévus pour 2026.
